Views on the Post-Covid Talent Landscape

Even though COVID-19 is still very much lurking in the background, SumTotal employees came together in person at Learning Technologies. After a tumultuous few years, we wanted to understand how L&D professionals are coping. How have they adapted their strategies? How are current events impacting their outlook on talent?

SumTotal surveyed 150 learning professionals to assess their industry views and predictions. From that research, we learned:

• 60% of respondents expect recruitment challenges to emerge from current geopolitical unrest
• 55% of respondents said economic uncertainty forced their organisation to adapt its recruitment process
• 55% of respondents said they've experienced greater difficulty with recruitment since the pandemic
