Course Description and Key Learning Objectives

This instructor-led course teaches about the features and flexibility of this multi-faceted learning management system. Learn how to use the TotalLMS module to create and manage training events, register students, and report on learning activities.

You will learn all aspects of the TotalLMS module and gain a comprehensive understanding of managing a corporate training program. Leveraging this learning platform will allow you to deploy and track standards-based online courses including SCORM, AICC, and third party online courseware. TotalLMS also facilitates the delivery and management of blended learning and provides a common role-based security model. With comprehensive content browsing and searching, knowledge is at your fingertips.

In this course, participants will learn to:

• Access and navigate the TotalLMS interface.
• Design, create and manage learning activities.
• Set up learning activity registration and approval processes for instructor-led and self-paced, online activities.
• Upload, launch, and track standards-based online courses (both SCORM and AICC).
• Manage and track learning activity schedules and training resources.
• Manage Certifications.
• Build and deploy training evaluations.
• Use Information Management and the Collaboration Center features.
• Generate and analyze reports.

• Basic Internet skills and intermediate computer skills (mouse, keyboard, and so on).
• Prior knowledge of Web-based applications.
• Prior understanding of relational databases is helpful.
