Neuron:
The ToolBook Plug-In
Neuron is a browser plug-in or ActiveX control that enables a Web browser
to play a ToolBook Instructor or Assistant file (TBK file).
Using Neuron and a Web browser, you can take advantage of the full feature
set available in TBK files over the Internet. Distributing native TBK
files over the Internet using Neuron and a Web browser is one of the multiple
distribution options provided with SumTotal authoring products.
Neuron works with both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
Download and install Neuron
Download the following self extracting Neuron setup on your hard drive:
Earlier
versions of Neuron plugins are available for download from our FTP
site.
- Run the self installer file and follow the instructions on screen.
- The browser needs to be restarted once the setup procedure has been
completed, otherwise the plugin does not take effect.
- A new program group containing the latest release notes and online
help will also be created.
