How to import a Developer's Exchange Tool into ToolBook

Local Developer's Exchange Tools are a set of tools that have been downloaded from the Developer's Exchange Site and imported into ToolBook. Local tools can be accessed at any time since the tools reside on a local drive.

To import a Developer's Exchange Tool into your ToolBook Application, please do the following:

• Download the Developer's Exchange Tool to a directory you will remember.

• Launch ToolBook and select "Developer's Exchange Tools" from the Tools menu.

• Select the "Local Developer's Exchange Tools" radio button if the Local Tools are not already selected.

• Click on the "Import Tool..." button to display the Import dialog box.

• Browse to the Developer's Exchange Tool you downloaded and select the file.

• Click on the "OK" button.

• To launch the tool, either double-click on it in the list, or select it from the list and click the "Launch" Button.
