What’s New in 6.7
Here are the new features available in Pathlore 6.7:
New Operating System Support
Windows Server 2008 (R1 and R2), Windows Vista and Windows 7 are all supported in both their 32 and 64-bit editions.
New Web Browser Support
Firefox 3.5 is supported for students and Internet Explorer 8 is now supported for both administrators and students.
Word 2007 Support for Mail
Microsoft Word 2007 is now supported for the Pathlore Mail functionality. Letters can be created using Word 2007 and Word 2007 documents can be processed by the Pathlore Mail Server.
Ad-hoc E-mail Enhancements
The ability to send ad-hoc e-mail is available in more places and has additional options allowing e-mail addresses to be copied to the clipboard as well as sending e-mails.
Curriculum Display in Learning Center
The Assigned Curriculums page has been enhanced to allow better control of which curriculums are displayed by default as well as allowing students to change and sort the display to their liking.
Connected User List Enhancements
The list of connected users in System Center can display more users and can now be filtered. Correct totals are displayed no matter how the list is filtered.
Ability to Copy Curriculums
New curriculums can be created using an existing curriculum as a starting point. In addition, the courses and groups can be copied and pasted from one curriculum to another.
Multiple Registration Delete Confirmation
Messages more clearly indicate to the user when multiple registrations will be deleted from rosters and transcripts to help avoid accidental deletions.
Display Connected Site Information
Text can be defined to identify a database so it is easy to see which database you are currently connected to. This can be useful to distinguish a production environment from a test one.
Enhanced Manager Maintenance
A new Manager tab allows direct reports to easily be added and removed from a manager, or reassigned to a new manager.
Excel Export Enhancements
Data can be exported in new formats including CSV, and can optionally include a header row.
Advanced Question Bank Searches
An advanced find can be performed to make it easier to locate question banks when there are many question banks defined in a system.
Searching ILT and Online Classes
Both Instructor-Led and Online classes can now be found when using the Quick Find search in the Classes section of the Administration Center.
Self Reported Training for Students
Students can now add, edit and delete self-reported training events on their own transcripts in Learning Center. Managers can also manage self-reported training for their reports.
System Configuration Report
A report is available in System Center to display detailed information about the components that are installed on the various machines used for the LMS installation.
Web Based Eligibility Table Management
Eligibility tables can now be maintained in System Center, and new features are available, making it easier to determine if an eligibility table is set up correctly.
