As part of the orientation process, new team members participate in a weeklong onboarding program to learn about the company, its products and the industry, and upon completion of the initial orientation training, new employees go through a separate, job-specific program to be better equipped with the skills needed to succeed in their role at the company. Different from the traditional approach of learning-as-you-go, SumTotal’s unique orientation training gives employees a higher level of knowledge and experience from the start, allowing for the highest levels of customer service to be achieved.
