Mountain View, Calif. – June 22, 2006 – SumTotal™ Systems (Nasdaq: SUMT), the largest provider of talent, learning and business performance technologies and services, and its partner HP Education Services, announced that Liaoning Mobile has purchased licenses for SumTotal’s TotalLMS 7.1. Liaoning Mobile is SumTotal’s first mainland China customer.
SumTotal’s solution is an enterprise software platform for managing talent as well as analyzing, storing and delivering learning. Liaoning Mobile, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Mobile Limited, will use the software, among other things, to instruct employees on job skills as well as compliance and regulatory issues. China Mobile Limited is the leading mobile services provider in mainland China.
