SumTotal Systems To Host Third Quarter Financial Results Investor Conference Call On Monday, November 1, 2004

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., -- October 6, 2004 -- SumTotal Systems (Nasdaq: SUMT), the industry's largest single provider of business performance and learning technologies, processes and services, will host an investor conference call and webcast to discuss the financial results of the third quarter ended September 30, 2004.

The conference call and webcast will take place on Monday, November 1, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) / 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). R.
