  • Launch of SumTotal Mobile

    on July 1, 2011 | 0 Permalink | Reply

We are really excited for the launch of our new SumTotal Mobile solution.  This product release is great news for all of SumTotal’s Learning customers – as it will enable customers to reach many more learners than they could previously.  Now learners who do not have access to a computer but who have mobile phones or tablet devices, such as an Apple iPad, can now take courses in their Learning system via their mobile device.

There are many features within SumTotal Mobile to get excited about. One of our favorites is that SumTotal Mobile uses the native applications on the user’s mobile device (specifically for iPhone, Blackberry and Google Android phones).  This means learners will find it really easy to use.  Another feature were excited about is the ability to download learning content and run it locally.  With this capability, learners don’t have to worry about bad connections, poor speed, etc.  Since learning content runs locally on the device, the content always plays fast and when done, any information (like test scores or completion information) is automatically sent up to the learning system.

If you want to learn more about this solution, please take a minute and go to the product page.
