Gregg Monastiero is the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for SumTotal Systems, and is responsible for managing all of the company’s global customer and partner relationships. Monastiero comes to SumTotal with an exceptional twenty-five year track record in executive management in enterprise software sales, consulting, and solution development. He has consistently exceeded corporate projections for revenue and market growth displaying solid operational and sales excellence. During his career, he has held numerous senior management positions in both large enterprise and startups technology firms. Prior to joining SumTotal, Monastiero served as the vice president of sales at JDA Software for the manufacturing, wholesale and distribution group. JDA is a provider of innovative supply chain management and pricing excellence solutions. Prior to JDA, Monastiero was the senior vice president of sales for Torex, one of the world’s leading integrated supply chain provider of retail systems (Cerberus Capital company), where he managed the growth for direct and partner sales and consulting. Monastiero has also held key leadership positions, at Infor as the executive vice president for strategic solutions globally, driving new innovative solutions to market and successfully increasing license growth by 200%. Prior to Infor, Monastiero served as senior vice president of strategic solution for SSA Global (Cerberus Capital company), which included acquisitions of market leading companies (EXE, Epiphany, Provia and Baan). Monastiero was responsible for leading sales and integrating the sales teams into the SSA portfolio. He received his BA in Marketing & Finance from Merrimack College, and his MBA from Babson College, Olin School of Business. |
