Software Design Engineer

Job Description

As part of a high-impact customer retention program providing post production engineering work to customers’ worldwide, the engineer will understand the problem or issue reported, debug, trouble-shoot and provide quick solution to impact the customer satisfaction and play anchor role in stabilizing the product.

Essential Functions

The engineer must be strong in coding using Server side Java Script and strong RDBMS skills (PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures, indexes and preferably query optimization on Oracle / MS SQL Server) to enable day to day functioning.

Desired Profile

Candidates with minimum of 18+ months [for SDE] must possess the following skills:

Technical Skills

• Experience in database programming and building/architecting web applications
• Strong understanding of Internet and Intranet architecture
• Strong Server side JavaScript coding experience with OOP skills.
• Should have strong skills in Core Java, JSP, Servlets.
• Should have exposure to debugging skills and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong RDBMS concepts and ability to develop, manage and trouble-shoot RDBMS (Oracle/MS SQL Server) queries (PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures and preferably query optimization)
• Experience in C++, Visual Basic preferred.

• Ability to contribute individually and work well with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well with a team, work optimally under scheduled deadlines, and have passion for delivering high quality output
• Creative mindset with good problem solving skills
• Ability to deliver under tight timelines
• MCA/BE/Btech in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
