SumTotal offers the industry’s broadest and deepest product capabilities with expanded global services and support infrastructure.
Will Accero & CyberShift management team and employees join SumTotal?
Yes, Accero & CyberShift employees and management will be integrated into SumTotal, further expanding our industry-leading experience and expertise in delivering successful HR software solutions that meet the needs of customers of all sizes and across all market segments. The goal of these acquisitions is to complement SumTotal’s Sales, Support, Services, Cloud Operations, and R&D teams with Accero and CyberShift teams to create the industry’s most experienced organization for delivering complete strategic HCM solutions.
What additional benefits will SumTotal’s customers gain from this transaction?
SumTotal customers will have access to new capabilities such as payroll, employee and manager and self-service, benefits, workforce intelligence and reporting administration, workforce management and expense, and mobile workforce solutions.
SumTotal will continue to invest in all its products with further advancements and additional capabilities. With these acquisitions, SumTotal will also increase its deep domain expertise with pioneering HR leadership and technologists across services, sales, support, and R&D.

Accero & CyberShift customers will gain the benefit of dramatically increased global infrastructure, expanded resource allocations and deep domain and subject-matter expertise on a global scale with established localized service centers that will enable SumTotal to deliver more rapid innovation and to further enhance customer support and satisfaction.

Will Accero & CyberShift products and SumTotal products be integrated?
Yes, SumTotal will support out-of-box integration of SumTotal’s flagship Talent Management solutions with Accero and CyberShift solutions. Customer will gain significant benefits from greater visibility of workforce capabilities and centralized reporting.
Should Accero customers continue to call the Accero Support Center?
Yes, our goal is to ensure continuity for our customers. Accero customers should still contact the Accero Support Center to address immediate and ongoing needs. As we integrate systems, we will communicate all changes and transitions occurring with appropriate notice.
Should CyberShift customers continue to call the CyberShift Support Center?
Yes, our goal is to ensure continuity for our customers. CyberShift customers should still contact the CyberShift Support Center to address immediate and ongoing needs. As we integrate systems, we will communicate all changes and transitions occurring with appropriate notice.
Will these acquisitions impact product roadmaps for Accero, CyberShift, and SumTotal solutions?
SumTotal plans to provide continuity in the current for Accero, CyberShift, and SumTotal product roadmaps and will move forward with currently planned product releases. Out-of-box integration between SumTotal, Accero, and CyberShift will provide additional flexibility to easily implement all solutions.
Will SumTotal be eliminating or phasing out any of its current products or those of Accero & CyberShift?
There are no plans to eliminate any solution offerings. As with our current “Unlimited” product programs, SumTotal will continue to enhance and support all current SumTotal, Accero, and CyberShift products to ensure that customers generate the desired returns on their investments and can leverage the solution that is most appropriate for their business.
How will this transaction affect implementations of Accero & CyberShift or SumTotal products currently being implemented?
This transition should have a positive effect on customer implementations and support, as it adds scale and improves efficiencies across all teams. Current implementations will proceed as planned as SumTotal is committed to protecting customer investments by providing continued support for all current SumTotal, Accero, and CyberShift products. The combined organization’s larger global scale and reach is better able to support customer needs both during and after implementations.
As a prospective SumTotal, Accero, or CyberShift customer, does this change my current product evaluation process?
The transaction does not impact any current evaluation processes. SumTotal will continue to invest in and support all of our current products. SumTotal is now the only vendor offering best-of-class solutions for the entire employee lifecycle across all strategic HCM pillars. We provide our customers the flexibility to implement these solutions to meet their specific business needs.
What is the timeframe for integration of the two companies?
As of July 7, 2011, SumTotal, Accero, and CyberShift are now one integrated company with a unified strategy and vision.
